How Buteyko can help?
How can Buteyko help with Asthma?
Nineteen clinical studies conducted in the Western world have explored the Buteyko Method as a complementary treatment for asthma. Across all these studies, positive outcomes were consistently observed, such as notable reductions in coughing, wheezing, breathlessness, reduced mucous production and improved exercise tolerance. Additionally, improvements in asthma control and a decreased reliance on asthma medication were reported.
How can Buteyko help with the quality of sleep?
Breathing through the mouth during sleep is widely acknowledged to diminish sleep quality, often resulting in the sleeper waking up feeling fatigued, with a parched mouth, and frequently a congested nose. Numerous studies indicate that individuals who habitually breathe through their mouth during sleep tend to experience lighter, less restful sleep, and are at a higher risk for conditions like insomnia, snoring, and sleep apnoea.
How can Buteyko help your cough?
Breathing more air into your lungs, whether it is through the nose or mouth will cause the airways to become irritated and depending on genetic predisposition may result in coughing. Clients undertaking the Buteyko program can anticipate a 50% reduction in coughing within two weeks. Monitoring your control pause can be beneficial if you experience coughing. Persistent coughing may persist until your morning control pause reaches at least twenty-five seconds.
How the Buteyko method may help exhaustion?
The Buteyko method may alleviate exhaustion by optimizing breathing patterns, ensuring efficient oxygen utilization, and strengthening respiratory function. Additionally, it promotes relaxation, reduces stress levels, and enhances sleep quality, collectively contributing to increased energy levels and reduced feelings of fatigue.
How the Buteyko method can help with Stress, Anxiety, Panic Attacks & Depression?
The Buteyko method activates the parasympathetic nervous system which supports rest, digestion and relaxation. It enhances quality sleep which supports feelings of exhaustion and low energy. This leads to a calmer mental state and reduced physiological responses associated with these conditions.
